Lovely relaxing cottage with beautiful gardens. Lots to do in the area.

The only downside to a fantasic cottage is the lack of freezer or freezer box. We had to go to local pub to get ice for the obligatory holiday G&T and when hubby sprained his ankle, we needed ice to get swelling down which was a problem!
Cottage is the best we have ever rented however, kitchen equipment is poor if you wish to cook which I love to do. Pans are old and poor quality, knives are blunt but please do not let put you off this absolute haven of a house.
The gardens are stunning and we spent many hours in the late afternoon after our walks reading and relaxing. The summerhouse is charming and a good retreat if the wind is strong and the sun is shining!

The Retreat is an amazing hideaway close to all the amenities you could want.
The cottage and gardens are idyllic and we literally watched the garden bloom over the week.

The whole house is super comfortable and its great to have the formal dining room.

As someone who likes to have time to cook on holiday my only recommendation would be just a couple more kitchen utensils e.g. peeler, few more wooden spoons.
Hardly a disaster though and managed with what we had.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and homely holiday
