There are sadly too many tales of rural pubs shutting up shop and being lost to its community forever. But recently the story has been rather different in Yorkshire.
And I think one company in particular deserves praise for its restoration and transformation of old country pubs, Provenance Inns. Their tagline is ‘restoring Inns in villages you would like to live in’ and so far their choice of locations has been spot on. And with a real focus and passion for serving excellent Yorkshire produce, they have created some of the best gastro pubs in the region.
So on behalf of the Yorkshire countryside and those of us who live in it and come on holiday here, I’d just like to say Bravo Provenance Inns, and thanks for giving these old pubs back to us bigger and better than before!
