Swaledale is beautiful and we were lucky to have excellent weather for the whole week. The cottage is well situated and the bed is very comfortable! Lots of excellent walking, good pubs and only an hour and a bit to Harrogate, if you need to visit a town.

Nice cottage, great location, had some difficulty actually finding the place after parking. I'm not sure I would recommend it as a winter location but otherwise everything was fine.

Very well equipped cottage - one of the best we've stayed at. Good kitchen equipment and all the basics provided - dishcloth, washing up liquid, tea towels, olive oil, tea, coffee, salt and pepper. Cosy and nicely decorated. Great location - right in the heart of Swaledale and only a mile from Reeth, so lots of great walks from the door or very locRead moreal. Great entrance way to take off boots and a warming cupboard to hang wet coats. 30 mins to Richmond and Leyburn - both lovely to visit. Hide
