Ripley Castle, 5 miles away, is another very pleasant place to walk, with its magnificent parkland grounds and deer park. Make a trip out to see the National Trust’s Brimham Rocks too. These natural rock formations, approximately 11 miles out of town, are set against a picturesque background of heather moorland.
