A stylish little hideaway set within a secluded location in the North York Moors offering the perfect home from home for couples looking to enjoy a romantic escape to the stunning countryside.

Get ready to fall in love with this holiday escape, a gorgeous one-bedroom cottage tucked away in a pretty village in the North York Moors National Park. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape, this immaculate little hideaway offers stylish and comfortable accommodation with several dining pubs on your doorstep. Step inside to discover a surprisingly spacious open-plan area home to the lounge, kitchen and dining area, and exposed beams overhead lend lots of character.

In the lounge you have comfy seating where you can snuggle up by the fire. Light up the wood burner, curl up under the soft throws and enjoy an evening catching up over a glass or two. For your evening entertainment you'll find a TV with Freeview as well as a DVD player, radio and MP3 USB charging port. Wi-Fi is included too if you need to catch up online.

Make your way through to the rear of the cottage where you'll find an elegant and stylish handmade kitchen. The flooring changes to sophisticated Yorkshire stone in here and its heated underfoot. You'll find all the usual mod cons including a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, great if you need to wash some muddy walking gear. There's also a coffee machine to make that perfect cup of morning coffee. The bijou glass dining table and chairs share this space. It's a lovely spot for breakfast and lunch, take your time over the morning papers with some croissants and Yorkshire tea.

Let's go upstairs to discover the beautiful bedroom which sits at the front of the cottage. At the heart of the room is a stunning king-size bed. Dressed in crisp cotton with a lime green throw, waking up in this room is just heavenly. You'll also find a set of drawers and built in wardrobes, so lots of storage options. There's another TV in here too if you fancy some morning telly in your PJs, and why not, you're on holiday!

Next door is the fabulous bathroom with its walk-in shower and monsoon shower head. With its wet room feel, underfloor heating and top-quality fixtures it feels like a five-star hotel in here. Complimentary toiletries are provided for that extra little luxury.

There is much to enjoy outside this pretty cottage too. To the rear through patio doors from the kitchen you'll find a sweet flagged courtyard with outdoor furniture. It's a gorgeous spot for lunch alfresco or perhaps that afternoon G&T in the warmer months.

We think this beautiful cottage is the perfect couples escape to the country, with all the convenience of village amenities thrown in too.

This quaint property is set in the heart of Great Broughton, a pretty village on the cusp of the North York Moors National Park. This lovely village offers dining pubs within a stone's throw from the cottage.

Just 2.5 miles away is the beautiful market town of Stokesley. Hosting a market every Friday on its handsome cobbled square, this charming Georgian town offers a host of independent shops, cafes and restaurants to try. The neighbouring village of Great Ayton is 5 miles away and also worth a visit. It’s an idyllic Yorkshire village set beside a meandering river and once the boyhood home of Captain James Cook.

Heading in the other direction take you into the North York Moors. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1987, the lush pastures and woodlands of the western Moors play host to grand country houses, atmospheric ruins and handsome market towns.

There are some stunning walks right from your doorstep including the famous Cleveland Way, which you can join at Clay Bank, 3 miles. The beautiful market town of Helmsley is 18 miles and is a must on any visit to this area.
