This holiday home is in a fantastic location. Nestling high up in wild and magnificent Swaledale, there is a real sense of getting away from it all. The scenery all around is real picture-postcard stuff, with ancient old drystone barns peppering the dramatic hills and valleys. The village of Low Row is less than a mile away though, if you do want to connect with civilisation.

It is a true walker's paradise here and there are some beautiful long or short walks literally from your doorstep. There are maps and walking books provided. If cycling is more your thing you can hire bikes locally in Reeth.

This area of the Dales is also particularly renowned for its spectacular wild flower meadows in the spring, but every season has its charm. And with no street light pollution for miles around, the stars at night are dazzling. May sees the annual Swaledale Festival, two weeks of amazing music, art and culture and the charming Muker show in September is another calendar highlight.
