Huddersfield is a bustling market town, full of impressive architecture, interesting history and independent shops and eateries, whereas the Peak District’s wild, heather-clad moorland and craggy outcrops make an ideal backdrop for a range of walking trails, to suit all abilities. Closer to home, you could walk the 1 mile to Scammonden Reservoir for a lovely stroll with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. At the end of a busy day exploring, you’ll be pleased to head home for a soak in your private hot tub and an evening of stargazing.
