Located in a quiet village of Pannal, an inviting base from which to explore the stunning surrounding countryside enjoying a pleasant location close to the spa town of Harrogate.

This beautifully presented cottage on the outskirts of the pretty village of Pannal, just outside Harrogate, is perfect for families or friends looking to make the most of town and country. Nestled amongst a terrace of houses set into the hill, this property occupies a relatively secluded position and affords beautiful views of the Yorkshire countryside. Located between Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, guests can immerse themselves in the rural splendour of the area and explore nearby market towns. Keen walkers and cyclists will be spoilt for choice with so many trails and routes on offer. As well as this, the bustling spa town, Harrogate, is only 3 miles away and has plenty on offer, including independent shops, a range of eateries and lots of green space to stretch your legs. If you really want to appreciate all things Yorkshire, you could time a visit with the Great Yorkshire Show – a massive platform for farmers and local craft-makers to showcase their way of life and their produce on a grand-scale.

Beautifully refurbished, this property is clean, contemporary, and cosy throughout. A neutral palette creates a feeling of light and space, whilst warm wooden tones make it feel inviting and homely.

On entering, you’ll find yourself in the lounge, with its comfy sofas and welcoming wood burner – the perfect combination for relaxing evenings. From here, head into the spacious kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped to allow you to whip up some delicious meals for you and your guests. There is plenty of dining space for everyone, or perhaps you’d prefer to gather round the table to play a game or plan the next day’s adventure.

Upstairs, there are three delightful bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a single. All of which are beautifully presented to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Pull back the bi-folding doors in the kitchen to reveal a large decking area; set into the rocks behind the property, they make for a dramatic backdrop to any alfresco meal. There is private parking for two cars.

loved our weekend staying at this cottage. Great location for us. A short walk to the train station where you can get to all the main locations . Cottage was perfect for 5 of us - my elderly dad had the single room , was a bit small but adequate for the weekend, other rooms were good size. Quick 5 min drive to M&S to stock up for the weekend . Lovely place to base yourself for trips to York, Harrogate and Knaresborough. We walked to the train station several times, to use the train for days out, which was great not having to use the car. Lovely countryside walks from the cottage too. There were 5 adults in our group....the single bed was a little on the small side for our youngest who isRead more 6ft 2! But he managed. Great shower, brilliant having the utility room with washer and dryer, and loved the log burner. We had a great week! Hide

Cottage location was ideal could park up the car walk to the train station and travel to places in the area were driving / parking is difficult and expensive. We had a lovely Christmas stay at Sandy Bank. We love Harrogate so the location was perfect for us and our pooch. The owners communication was also very good and they got back to us straight away with any questions we had. :)

Great little cottage with such a unique garden, even in the winter it was a pleasure to look at through the large doors. Very comfortable, and great for local dog walks or getting the train into Harrogate.
