This contemporary property is a wonderful choice for families and small groups keen to experience Yorkshire’s spectacular coastline, placing you within 3 miles of Bridlington’s charming streets. Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms, it’s stylish and elegant with lots of homely details to make you feel welcome. Intrepid explorers and gentle amblers alike will adore the fantastic walking opportunities nearby, and those who have a keen appreciation for wildlife will be able to enjoy sea safaris and coastal views in abundance.

Sunlight streams through the patio doors that run the width of the kitchen/diner, giving the essence of dining alfresco when you perch at the table. The kitchen area is beautifully chic with sleek units and ample worktop space for all your cooking needs. Return from your explorations with a whole host of locally sourced goodies ready to transform into a feast using the electric oven/hob, and you can store all your tasty leftovers in the fridge/freezer. Pop the TV on and catch up on the news as you sizzle up bacon and eggs in the morning, and if you bring your own pods, you can enjoy your morning coffee brewed using the Magimax Nespresso machine. After your feast, pop on the dishwasher and head out to enjoy your day.

On chilly evenings, the comfortable lounge is a delight with its simple rustic yet contemporary decor and wooden flooring. Sink back into the deep sofas and watch your favourite films with a tempting array of snacks to hand. Pour a glass of wine and relax, or take it upstairs for a long soak in the elegant bathroom that’s equipped with a shower-over-the-bath. The three bedrooms are upstairs too, all of which have been individually designed, two with a king-size bed and one double zip and link bed, all with useful storage in each. One of the bedrooms has a private en-suite shower room for added convenience. The smallest visitors have been thought of too; there’s a basket of books and games for them to play with at leisure.

Outside, the large garden is safely enclosed for youngsters to play on the lawn whilst you tuck into afternoon tea, relaxing on the outdoor lounge set. Pick up a novel and snuggle up in the hammock to get lost in a fantasy world, listening to your peaceful surroundings. In the evening, you’ll have a ring-side seat for stargazing. Name the constellations and look out for shooting stars, embracing a little extra magic on quiet evenings.

A short walk will bring you to a bustling garden centre where you can grab a spot of lunch or tea and cake. Bridlington itself has lots of country pubs serving delicious food too. For adventurous types, you’ll be able to store your bikes and water sports equipment in the garage, and there is off-road parking for two cars. Completing the property is a handy utility room with a washer/dryer to take care of any muddy clothes and a very useful downstairs WC.

Nestled on the fringes of Bridlington within easy reach of the coast, you’ll have a wealth of opportunities for scenic walks and cosy pub lunches. Bridlington (3 miles) boasts glorious sandy beaches, cheerful promenades and a pretty harbour populated by gently bobbing boats. Embrace a feeling of nostalgia and immerse yourself in the traditional entertainment, thrilling the youngest members of your party with funfair rides and trips to the arcades. Bridlington Old Town is awash with history, and eagle-eyed film enthusiasts may recognise the architecture from the 2016 Dad’s Army film. Timing your visit with the annual Dickensian Festival is a treat for literature lovers, and it is brilliant fun seeing all the stallholders and shopkeepers adorned in Victorian attire.

Flamborough Head (8 miles) will appeal to any nature enthusiast with its resident seals and dolphins, whilst the majestic chalk RSPB Bempton Cliffs are home to over 250,000 species of seabirds. The best way to see the local wildlife is to board a boat from Bridlington Harbour and marvel at the unrivalled views of the coastline on a sea safari, and a trip out on the Yorkshire Belle is fantastic for viewing the lighthouse at Flamborough Head.

Further along the coastline, Scarborough, 17 miles away, has gorgeous sandy beaches and a huge choice of cafes and restaurants. Make your way through the historic streets to explore Scarborough Castle or enjoy a stroll around the South Cliff area, taking in the famous spa and Italian Gardens. Catch the cliff lift down to the beach and walk around to the peaceful North Bay, visit the renowned Sea Life Centre or explore the beautiful Peasholm Park with its boating lake, woodland walks and oriental influences.

Modern property in a quiet location. Short drive to town centre and beach. Lots of places nearby to visit. Also, garden centre next door sells tasty cakes. Beds very comfortable. Fully enclosed garden for dog. Unfortunately, on arrival discovered property had not been cleaned properly. So, contacted owner who arranged for the cleaner to return.
