Pack a picnic and step straight out of the front door to wander your beautiful surroundings. Plan day trips to Richmond, 17 miles away, with its Norman castle, cobbled marketplace and access to the glorious Yorkshire Dales. Country houses such as Newby Hall, 24 miles away, and Kiplin Hall, 9.5 miles from the cottage, are also pleasant places to while away an afternoon or you could take in Yorkshire’s finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale Railway, boarding a heritage train at Leeming Bar, 8.5 miles from your base.

Make your way through to the lounge every evening to stoke up the attractive redwood burner and find something suitable for everyone to enjoy on the Smart TV as the log burner crackles gently in the background. You will find you also have a downstairs WC.
At the end of each day, climb the stairs to either the king-size bedroom, with a generous en-suite bathroom, the gorgeous double bedroom, with a beautiful, antique brass bed or the cosy single room. Those staying in the double and single rooms can wake up to a hot shower in the family shower room.
