This unique wooden cabin allows guests to be in harmony with nature and is great for those looking to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside and coastline.

This property is a remarkable two-bedroom wooden lodge set in the heart of a private woodland area. With an upscale feel, this exclusive property sleeps up to four people and welcomes up to two four-legged friends and is the perfect choice for families, couples or friends looking to unwind in the countryside and enjoy outdoor adventures.

Although hidden away, the property is exceptionally well located in the sleepy village of West Heslerton, with an excellent foodie pub just a mile away for those of you who love to indulge in dining on local produce and tasting the local beers. Malton lies 9 miles to the west; the East Yorkshire coast is 13 miles to the east.

There is a beautifully planted walkway leading to your retreat. Step inside and find a spacious open-plan living space comprised of the lounge, dining area, and kitchen. The luxury in this generously sized chalet-style cabin is what makes it an ideal choice for family and friends looking to spend quality time together. The tones are calming and mixed with bold colours.

In the lounge area, the comfortable chairs invite you to gather so you can chat over the day’s adventure, play games or take advantage of the Smart TV and watch a favourite movie or series.

The kitchen area is cleverly set back and is perfectly equipped to cater for a quick breakfast, picnic or three-course dinner. You could dine at the breakfast bar or linger at the dining table and plan your next outdoor adventure.

The luxurious, contemporary bathroom features a large free-standing bathtub for that indulgent soak and a large open shower. There are two bright and spacious king-size bedrooms to rest your head at the end of a packed day.

Outside, the property has a partly enclosed, wraparound decked terrace, complete with ramps so guests can enjoy the outdoors. There is a dining area with a BBQ so that you can take your meal to the covered seating area for an al fresco dinner. After a long day walking around the stunning North Yorkshire countryside and the coast, the luxury of a hot tub to ease aching muscles is yours to enjoy. Bespoke seating areas are available, which are perfect if you want a quiet area to read, follow the sun, or enjoy a sundowner in the evening.

The vibrant and attractive market town of Pickering (11 miles) is perfect for a relaxing wander around its pretty houses, shops and tearooms. Grand Georgian architecture stands alongside cosy traditional cottages to create a picture-postcard location with several excellent restaurants, pubs and cafes in the town. The wonderful North York Moors Railway starts in Pickering, where you can catch a steam train to Whitby and back again through some of the most picturesque countryside in Yorkshire.

Beyond Pickering lies the awe-inspiring North York Moors, a landscape of gently rolling hills of heather, ancient woodland and lazy rivers winding through lush green valleys. If you want to get away from it all, take a trip to the top of the high central moorlands, which is also a great option if walking is your thing.

In addition to Pickering, there are many well-heeled towns and villages dotted about the moors, where honey-coloured sandstone buildings lend a warm contrast to the deep purple and green of the surrounding hills. The beautiful market town of Helmsley is 24 miles away and is well worth a visit for its great restaurants, cafes and delis. You'll also find a fantastic day spa here if you fancy a little pampering.

The charming town of Kirkbymoorside is 18 miles away, with its treasure trove of art and antique shops, tearooms, Ryedale Folk Museum and a great market on Wednesdays. There is a theme park and zoo at Flamingo Land, 15 miles away, and Eden Camp, a fascinating modern history museum, is just 9 miles away. You're also close to Castle Howard (16 miles) and the North Yorkshire coast, with Filey and Scarborough 13.5 miles away, so you'll have lots of choices for day trips.

The cabin is amazing. It's located in lovely gardens that are private, secluded and dog safe. A holiday here leaves you feeling rested and stress free, of course you then have to go back to reality but its such a good experience. This is a superb place to stay. The owners have got it down to a tee. The welcome, the little special extras on top of a lovely secluded fantastically equipped lodge make it a perfect place to stay for those who want to chill and yet still be in reach of the fantastic east coast. This was an amazing place and we would definitely revisit.Molly our dog loved it , She liked the horses,goats and rabbits ,sulked when we got back home yesterday. This was our second time here. We had a fabulous week. The weather was perfect to match the accommodation. There is so much to do and see in the area but if you just want to stay in then everything is there for you. Brian and Amanda are great hosts and very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be looking to book again.

This property is in a great location central for York, Scarborough, Whitby and flamingo land. The cabin was spotless and is very well equipped. The welcome pack was a great surprise and a very nice touch. The owners couldnt do enough for you.. even told us there was no hurry to vacate at 10am as no one was following on that day. What a wonderful cottage! This was our second visit - we came last year and loved it so much we couldn't wait to come back. The cottage is modern and extremely comfortable with excellent beds and great wifi and tv, and a very well equipped kitchen. What a luxurious holiday cottage! Everything is perfectly designed for comfort. We loved the hot tub, the spacious living area, the excellent wifi and tv, and the unusual surrounding garden. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Overall, just perfect!

Everything was very high quality. The only improvement could be handles in the shower area for less able visitors, but this should not detract from a great stay.

We really loved our stay. The cabin location is very peaceful and we found it hard to tear ourselves away. The outside space is great with plenty of seating, perfect for when the weather is kind. We would love to return for another visit.

This place is a real gem. Its secluded, yet easy to get to, very well equipped and the grounds are wonderful. Close to lovely countryside and the coast. The adverts are very understated. The owners are very helpful and could not have made us more welcome. Dont hesitate- it is as good as it looks if not better.

Fantastic cabin and total relaxation, 3 nights not long enough and will return. Hosts Amanda and Brian always helpful. Dogs loved it too.
