The attention to detail at this fabulous barn conversion is complemented by its lovely location – tucked away in the picturesque village of Lund, it’s close to a delightful country inn and surrounded by the gently undulating Yorkshire Wolds.

The beautiful market town of Beverley, 8.5 miles south, is one of Yorkshire’s best-kept secrets with its stunning 13th-century Minster regarded as one of Europe’s finest Gothic churches. Take the time to admire the town’s medieval architecture before indulging in a spot of shopping around its lively cobbled squares… when you’re all done, you can finish off with a drink in one of the many charming local pubs.

Few locations capture the relaxed charm of the Yorkshire Wolds like Driffield, 9 miles north of your holiday home. Founded in Saxon times, the thriving town centre retains its sleepy rural character and epitomises the vivid history, culture and flavour of the surrounding countryside.

The Yorkshire Coast is also within striking distance and Hornsea, around 20 miles away, is a quintessential seaside resort with a quaint promenade and towering Victorian folly. Once well known for its pottery, the town is home to Yorkshire‘s largest freshwater lake which boasts over 250 species of birds and offers plenty of opportunities for sailing and fishing.

Further up the coast and a similar driving distance from your doorstep, Bridlington is awash with kitsch traditional entertainment alongside a wonderful Old Town and historic harbour. Just 6.5 miles further on, Flamborough Head is paradise if you love wildlife-watching and windswept hiking –a scenic nature reserve and two ancient lighthouses nearby make this Special Area of Conservation a must-see if you want to discover the Yorkshire coast at its most untamed.

The Wagon Shed was an absolute delight for a relaxing holiday. Everything was great, cleanliness, equipment, helpful notes from the owner's. The quality of everything was way above average. The Location was so peaceful, yet not far to drive to the coast or further inland. Would highly recommend!

Just had a lovely relaxing week at the wagon shed... it was absolutely perfect and a real home from home done to a very high standard. The owners thought of everything. We didn't get the best weather so we stayed home a lot and really made the most of the house including the wonderful hot tub. Would definitely recommend this house.
