This property is an exceptional five-bedroom holiday home set in the heart of Bronte Country. Close to the village of Oxenhope (0.5 miles) and with a local country inn 100 metres away, this magnificent converted chapel sleeps up to ten people and is the perfect choice for families or friends looking for tranquillity in beautiful countryside surroundings.

The superb location of this home is undeniable. There is an abundance of tracks and trails to explore straight from the doorstep, including the renowned Bronte Way, which runs directly across from the property.

Step inside and find an extraordinary, converted chapel, taking inspiration from a host of world-renowned artists. The luxury interior combines original period features with an artistic contemporary twist. Adorned with unique stained-glass windows, beams, reclaimed wood panelling and an abundance of artwork, it provides an unforgettable stay.

Step through the front door into a wood-clad entrance hall, the perfect spot to leave coats and muddy boots. Renovated in a reverse-level design to make the most of the beautiful countryside views, you will find five sumptuous bedrooms on the ground floor. The first, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, is bright and spacious, boasting a super-king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a gorgeous free-standing bath to soak in after a long day exploring the countryside. Along the corridor is a king-size bedroom decorated in the style of Gustav Klimt with beautiful regal colours giving a distinctly cosy feel. Down the hallway is a uniquely styled twin bedroom with quirky paddle stairs leading up to a snug area with very low ceilings - an ideal retreat for children. This room is wonderfully colourful and vibrant and inspired by Frida Kahlo. There are two more bedrooms: one double bedroom in bold colours inspired by Henri Matisse and one twin bedroom in the landscape colours of David Hockney. On the ground floor is a family bathroom.

Climb up the stairs to the central hub of the house, a hugely impressive open-plan lounge and dining area teeming with an abundance of original features, including smooth arches now painted in a shock of colour. There is ample seating on the colourful sofas for ten people to relax and enjoy the fantastic decor, furnishings, and historic surroundings. There are easels and art supplies provided if the setting and magnificent countryside views inspire you to try your hand at painting your own masterpiece.

In the dining area, a stylish dining table is placed in the back of the room and is perfect for long lingering family meals discussing the day’s events or planning for tomorrow’s adventures. The fabulous kitchen has a Smart TV, is large enough to cater to everyone’s needs, and has everything to rustle up a memorable feast for family or friends.

A spiral staircase leads to a quirky loft space with low and sloping ceilings. This space is an ideal hideaway for children and teenagers as it features games, books, an Xbox, and Smart TV.

The lower ground floor provides a unique and wonderful entertaining space that adds a touch of luxury with a sauna to revive aching limbs and a cinema room with a Smart TV to sit together with some popcorn and watch your favourite films.

Outside, you will find an enclosed patio area where you can unwind in the hot tub or relax around the fire pit. With comfortable furniture and a BBQ, it is the ideal spot for al fresco entertaining on a summer’s evening. To the front of the property is a small seating area with a bistro table, offering unspoilt views over the surrounding countryside and perfect for a morning coffee.

The cottage has excellent facilities to keep the whole family entertained. The hot tub, cinema room and gaming room were particular favourites with the children. The kitchen is well equipped and the main living area has plenty of space for everyone to congregate.

This house is fabulous, myself and 9 other ladies stayed here for a long weekend of celebrations (Birthdays). Owners very accommodating and split beds into singles when requested. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, all you need to take is food and drink. Short drive away to Haworth and 10 minutes walk down to the railway. We met up for a family gathering of 10 between the ages of 11 and 70, so the space and equipment were very good. We found the property generally quite dark and also in need of refurbishing in several areas. It would have been nice to have some washing machine tablets provided and perhaps some more games, particularly for the kids.
