Holding an enviable position in the picturesque village of Lund, this stunning property is ideally situated for walkers and cyclists alike. You only have to take a short stroll through the village to a wonderful country inn or enjoy one of the beautiful footpaths nearby.

This former tailor’s workshop has been lovingly converted into an outstanding holiday home with a reverse-level layout to make the most of the charming leafy views. Step into the well-presented hallway, perfect for leaving behind coats and muddy boots after a day exploring the Yorkshire countryside. Heading up the stairs, you will find yourself in the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with sloping ceilings and character by the bucket load. Exposed beams fly overhead, and wooden flooring lies underfoot with large picture windows that capture the view and draw the eye to the treetops beyond. With plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV, the cosy lounge is the perfect place to socialise with family and friends whilst taking in the rural vistas.

Moving to the stylishly designed kitchen area, you will find it fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a storm, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with a freezer compartment. When dinner is ready, gather around the dining table to enjoy a delicious meal and plan the next day’s activities.

Large double doors from one of the bedrooms lead to a private enclosed patio area. Attractive comfortable cottage in idyllic unspoiled, quiet village. 2 comfy king sized beds, each with own ensuite, was a bonus. Friendly welcome from host. Close to wonderful restaurants, and places of interest.

Very quiet village location. Loved the cottage and very well equipped for 4 people. Excellent facilities with both bedrooms having en-suite with luxury showers. High end finishing to all kitchen and bathroom equipment.

The cottage is set in a quiet village in peaceful countryside. It is within easy reach of Beverley, York, Castle Howard near Malton and the east coast where sea birds can be seen at Bempton Cliffs (the RSPB site) and seals can be seen at Flamborough Head. The two en suite bedrooms are well equipped. The kitchen is well equipped and the seating and Read moredining area is comfortable, though a tall visitor would need to get used to the sloping ceiling on one side of this area. The WiFi works well. Hide

Lovely cottage in a quiet village location. So peaceful. Lucky with the weather so made use of the courtyard garden. Really comfortable beds. Great rain showers. Good quality linen and towels. Would definitely stay again. The only negative is the head height upstairs, so if you are very tall this could be an issue. Within easy reach of Beverley.

The property requires a deep clean for guests and was not of a five star standard. The sofa shown in photographs is not available and it is individual seats. There is limited storage and four adults may find it rather small for space. The cottage however is in a good location in the Yorkshire Wolds.
