Get together with family and loved ones to celebrate special occasions in this stand-out Yorkshire holiday home. You’ll be taken aback by the sheer amount of space on offer in this property, whether that’s in the generous garden with a summerhouse and hot tub, or inside in the open-plan living space or well-proportioned family bedroom. Happily hosting up to nine guests and two dogs, we’re sure you’ll never forget your stay in this wonderful Kirkby Misperton cottage.

This end-terrace holiday home has been clearly designed with an eye for stylish interiors. As you step inside, you’ll find a pairing of feature design elements and contemporary fittings, all of which culminate in an extremely inviting home-from-home.

On arrival, stop off in the entrance hallway and leave coats and boots behind. The thoughtfully laid out ground floor all flows nicely into one another, with a spacious kitchen giving way to a beautifully bright open-plan lounge/diner. The kitchen is extremely on-trend with clean grey cabinets, integrated appliances and strip lights fitted throughout. Your family’s chef will love getting stuck into a recipe right here, all whilst listening to the hum of conversation, music and TV from the lounge next door.

Head through into the dining room when dinner is served. With space for your entire party to sit around together, this table offers the perfect place to enjoy one another’s company over great food and drink. Whether it’s a delicious breakfast or a lovingly prepared evening meal, you’re certain to leave this table feeling utterly satisfied.

In the lounge, ample seating including sofas, loveseats and armchairs offers plenty of room for guests to curl up and get comfy on an evening. Draped with sumptuous throws and scattered with plush cushions, you’ll no doubt dream of lounging around here throughout a long day of Yorkshire hikes and bike rides. The furniture has been neatly positioned around a wood burner effect electric fire and a large Smart TV, great for evenings through colder months. You can log in to streaming services on the TV and pick a family favourite film or something completely new to watch, all whilst basking in the warm glow of the electric fire.

You’ll pass by a handy ground-floor WC before reaching the stairs to ascend to the first floor. This storey accommodates three of the property’s four bedrooms, a luxuriously appointed bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and the added bonus of an office space with a handy desk should you need it.

The first of three bedrooms is a lovely master room with a double bed, soft linens and en-suite shower room providing an excellent offering of privacy. A second double bedroom is also to be found on this floor; however, this compact and cosy room might be better suited to one guest and features a smaller 4ft double bed. A twin bedroom with a feature wall and TV completes the first-floor offering.

At the top of the house sits the fourth and final bedroom, complete with an en-suite shower room and WC. This room is a spacious family bedroom with a double bed and an additional single bed, perfect for parents with younger children or three guests who are happy to share.

Be sure to make full use of this property’s outdoor space throughout warmer months. Here you’ll find a generously proportioned garden that’s set to lawn and benefits from a furnished patio space. A real hub of outdoor activity, this garden is entirely enclosed and offers a dining set, a fire pit and a covered hot tub with steps up. Finally, the garden offers a summerhouse with TV, computer games and seating options, an ideal chill-out zone for teenagers.

A lovely property! Beautifully presented with plenty of space across three floors. The hot tub is an added bonus and perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. Perfectly located for Flamingo Land (a 5-10 minute walk away) and easy access to York, Scarborough and the surrounding area. A really good house that is in a beautiful location. Great for 6-8 adults. As it is a self-catering property a bit more explanation of the induction hob and oven would be helpful. We didnt arrive until 7.30pm and the first thing we did was spend an hour trying to get the hob and oven to work

Cottage was in a very nice and quiet location with good accessibility to many attractions around North Yorkshire. The Hot Tub was a great addition to the holiday and was enjoyed by our whole family, especially after a long day exploring.

There are a lot of bedrooms, the cosiest one is on the top floor with an en-suite bathroom. The actual rain shower is not usable. If you use it, you flood the bathroom. In my case, the sink drain was also blocked. The kitchen is far too poorly equipped. Half of the cupboards are empty. There are too few pots. There is no hand mixer. Very comfortable, well equipped property, with plenty of space for our party of 8 plus 2 dogs to relax in. Outdoor space was secure for the dogs to play in. We had a lovely week staying in this cottage in Yorkshire. As a family with teenage children we were spoilt for choice with activities to do in the area, North Yorkshire Water Park was a real hit. The cottage was well equipped with everything you would need for a pleasant stay, my only minor complaint would be that it didnt have a dishwasher. Just returned home from a family stay, was perfect for all 3 generations. Great location, clean and tidy and very comfortable. Had two minor issues on arrival ( unable to connect to wifi and could not locate the freezer) these were both resolved with 1 very quick and simple phone call, key holders were polite and very helpful in resolving both - igRead morenore comments on other posts that there is no freezer, there is, its in the 'shed' outside. Good size plenty of room for our party of seven. Comfortable lounge area. Comfortable beds. Slept well. Good sized kitchen although only a small fridge . There is additional small fridge and freezer outside but fridge rusty on outside although clean within and freezer needing defrosted and cleared out. Good outdoor space for children to play. The house was very clean and well decorated. Its well laid out in a nice quiet location. An information pack would be good. There was nothing to wash up with usually a sponge or something is there and no dishwasher or freezer either. Amazing TV to settle down on an evening and the house was warm and cosy.
