The market town of Sedbergh is perfectly situated for days out in either the Yorkshire Dales or the Lake District, with lots of local shops, pubs, and eateries to enjoy. Hawes, 9 miles to the east, is well situated for shops and traditional pubs. With wonderful walks through the dale, along the river, or up onto The Howgill Fells from the doorstep, this is an idyllic and peaceful setting for your holiday. The cottage is in a courtyard of three similar properties, located within one of Sedbergh’s old commercial yards, just off the high street. From the parking area, a few steps lead up into the snug with the amazing wood burner and cosy seating area. Next up is the lounge with two comfy sofas surrounding a large Smart TV, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Tucked away in the corner is the dining area with oak seating and a table. It’s perfectly positioned for accessing the stylish kitchen with wooden flooring. The second bedroom is also a super-king-size and along the hall is the family bathroom.

Outside there is a lovely patio area with seating to enjoy sunny summer days.

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in an excellent central location in Sedbergh. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back if staying in the area again.

The cottage was lovely and has so many plus points, but unfortunately also a number of negative points. Toilet in en-suite had black scum around the water-line and wasn't clean. Could do with a drier to hang up your washing after using the machine, No instructions available on how to use the washing machine/oven. Knife block in the kitchen had rustRead morey knives in it. Towels weren't great, had rust marks and not very fluffy (needed replaced). Mirror in master room was too high and too far from plug. Hide

What a wonderful find. The cottage is decorated beautifully throughout, is spotlessly clean, and contains everything you need, including a much valued parking space. The location, near the centre of Sedbergh is ideal, with the shops and pubs just a short walk away. There are plenty of walks directly from Sedbergh itself, with the Lakes and Dales boRead moreth just a short drive away. Hide

A lovely cottage, spacious, clean, well equipped. Quiet location, and just a few minutes walk to amenities. The pubs serve good food, friendly people, the fish& chip shop is excellent!!! We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It was so clean and comfortable and everything was top notch, including the beds which were huge and super comfy. The central location was perfect, it was extremely quiet and parking was good. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Indeed, the bed so was good we are thinking of buying one. Only one fault : the water was not hot enough for a bath (although the shower was excellent).
