Share unforgettable adventures with your cherished ones at this luxurious old barn conversion sitting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Accommodating up to six people across three bedrooms, this gorgeous cottage provides a cosy home-away-from-home ambience that’s ideal for large families or groups of friends who want to celebrate a special occasion in the breathtaking Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a stylish farmhouse interior boasting exposed beams that add character and charm to this beautiful, rustic-style space. Head to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and slip into the sofa to make yourself at home for a moment before making your way to the sleek kitchen area to whip up a delicious meal for everyone.

Gather everyone around the chic dining table to eat, or if you prefer to dine alfresco, make your way out onto the vast patio area. Fire up a BBQ and enjoy a feast while you take in the magnificent country views.

After dinner, pour yourself a glass of your favourite wine and take a plunge in the private hot tub, or head back indoors and get cosy in front of your favourite TV show in the formal lounge.

At the end of the day, you'll discover three beautifully appointed bedrooms upstairs. Upon request, the first bedroom may be set up as either a super-king-size or a twin. Additionally, there's a generously sized twin room and a charming double room.

Enveloped by the stunning natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, Pateley Bridge is a charming market town that promises a taste of authentic Yorkshire life. The main street is peppered with cafes, restaurants, and plenty of handy local stores where you’ll find everything you need to stock up for your stay. Remember to reward yourself with a little something sweet in the town’s self-proclaimed 'Oldest Sweet Shop in England', which dates back to the early 1800s.

Pateley Bridge sits at the heart of the breathtaking Nidderdale landscape, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty sitting right next to Yorkshire Dales National Park. Go for a hike to check out the fabulous Brimham Rocks (2 miles), a collection of dramatically eroded sandstone formations. Explore a little further to find the Three Peaks, which were named on the BBC Two programme Seven Natural Wonders as one of the great wonders of Yorkshire.

Take a tour of Whittaker’s Distillery (1 mile), a family-run craft distillery in the heart of Nidderdale that produces award-winning spirits. You’ll be welcomed with a G&T (or a soft drink if you prefer) before a master distiller takes you through the gin and whisky-making process and then onto the whisky barrel store.

Alternatively, check out the cathedral town of Ripon (11.5 miles). Its stunning Gothic cathedral dates back to the 7th century and boasts beautiful stained glass windows. Or head to the RHS Garden at Harlow Carr (12 miles), a gorgeous 68-acre garden featuring an alpine house, rock garden and bamboo maze.

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey (9.5 miles) and you’ll discover the largest monastic ruins in the country. This breathtaking landscape is also home to a manor house known as Fountains Hall, Studley Royal Medieval Deer Park, a beautiful Victorian church and a Cistercian watermill.

Or head to Harrogate (11.5 miles) to explore natural caves, walk through flowing ravines, climb up rocks and participate in a high-wire adventure at Stean Gorge, or check out the eateries and tea shops in the stylish Harrogate District.

This is a lovely barn conversion. It has underfloor heating which was great for us as it was quite cool the week we were there. There is lots of space for everyone and lots of cupboards and equipment. The area is excellent for walking in the Nidderdale valley. We did a couple of walks from the door, no need to drive anywhere. We ate at the pub in tRead morehe village one night which was good and shopped in Pateley Bridge which is a charming little place. Would definitely recommend and would go again. Hide

Lovely house and scenery. Lack of essentials such as salt/pepper/sugar/cooking oil etc. So would have to do food shop to get those before coming. Hot tub/heating needed checking as werent on/working right when we got there. Overall enjoyed our stay but think those few details could make it perfect.

Very nice, spacious cottage in a lovely quiet location, surrounded by good walks. Large and plenty of room for a group of 6. We would consider returning in the future.

Joes Barn is a stunning modern house in a beautiful location with views all around. For a family of 6 adults it is well equipped and very spacious. The kitchen is well thought out and the utility room worked very well for our dog. The hot tub was an added extra, it was clean and just had to add the supplied chemicals throughout the week to make surRead moree it was safe. There are lots of walks on the doorstep without having to get in the car and the pie shop in Pately Bridge is well worth a visit. Hide

We had a brilliant stay at Joes barn. The place was so clean and spacious, and the surrounding area was really peaceful and quiet. Using the hot tub was a lovely way to round off our days. The owners very kindly left a basket of goodies for our stay which was very much appreciated. Had lots of lovely walks nearby, and found several places to visit Read morewhich were easy to get to in the car. We would definitely return, and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in North Yorkshire. Hide

Fantastic house in a lovely quiet location. High end fixtures and fittings. Comfortable beds. We had been a bit worried about containing the dogs, but were able to block the opening easily. Lots of walks. Thruscross Reservoir is nearby, and is spectacular. The village shop is well stocked and friendly, the pub is welcoming, and the gin distillery iRead mores in walking distance. Had a lovely meal at the Wellington in Darley. Harrogate had loads of shops, and of course Bettys tea rooms! Would stay again. Hide

Beautiful cottage and lovely location. The cottage has everything you need and the hot tub is a welcome extra! Very peaceful location with wonderful views.
