This is a lovely, cosy and romantic retreat set in a picturesque spot in the West Yorkshire countryside. Spend days exploring the area on foot, before resting your weary heads in front of the warming wood burner or dining alfresco on the private patio.
The entrance porch is spacious enough for you to leave your coats and walking boots before you head through to this characterful cottage. A spacious galley-style kitchen has plenty of room to cook up delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or you could prepare a picnic to take for your days out. The lounge/diner has a beamed ceiling and comfortable seating set around a roaring wood burner. Spend evenings relaxing, resting your feet and watching a film on the Smart TV. A two-seater dining table is provided for you to enjoy eating together.
When you are ready to get some shut eye, head upstairs to the sumptuous and colourful bedroom. Right in the centre is a fabulous four-poster king-size bed, welcoming guests to a comfortable night’s sleep. A large en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC completes the interior of the property. Outside and to the front of the cottage is a pretty courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs and is adorned with shrubbery. Dine alfresco and breathe in the countryside air as you plan the days ahead.
Tucked away down a quiet lane, this is the perfect spot for heading off from the doorstep along picturesque walks and trails leading through the woodland and open countryside. Take a trip to the cascading Goit Stock Waterfall (1 mile) or visit the intriguing and historic model village of Saltaire (4 miles).
