Discover this charming bungalow with panoramic sea views that is perfect for a traditional seaside getaway with your nearest and dearest in Scarborough. Create lifelong memories with your loved ones at this delightful two-bedroom bungalow sitting in the lively seaside town of Scarborough. Sleeping four people across two lovely bedrooms, this is a fabulous base for small families or groups of friends who want to discover the natural splendour of North Yorkshire together – while also having a little seaside fun.

Enter through the hallway and you’ll be greeted by the spacious, contemporary kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to put your culinary skills to the test. Before channelling your inner chef, take a moment to bask in the light and airy ambience of the beautifully styled open-plan living and dining area – a homely space that’s perfect for socialising. Sit back and sip on a coffee as you watch the waves roll in. Cook up a storm and then gather everyone to eat together at the dining table. Alternatively, head out to the front patio area for a fun al fresco dinner.

After dinner, relax in the enclosed lawn area below the cottage while taking in the beautiful seaside views. Uncork a nice bottle of fine wine and wait for the stars to come out. Alternatively, head to the living area and stretch out on a sofa in front of your favourite TV show. Open up the sliding glass doors and feel the sea breeze.

At the end of the day, you will find two stylish double bedrooms to choose from - so relax and enjoy a perfect night's sleep.

Sitting on the glorious Yorkshire coast, this holiday home is perfectly positioned so you can take advantage of the many attractions of Scarborough, such as its sandy beaches, quaint cafes and trendy restaurants.

Stroll through the historic alleyways to explore Scarborough Castle (3.5 miles) - a dramatic medieval castle overlooking the North Sea. Alternatively, take a walk around the South Cliff area (2 miles), to take in the Italian Gardens and Rose Garden. Or explore the magnificent Peasholm Park (3.5 miles) with its boating lake, wooded paths and oriental influences, or take a hike along the old railway line (3 miles) that originally ran from Scarborough to Whitby. It’s now a wonderful cycling and walking route.

If you have the kids with you, head off to Luna Park (3.5 miles) for the day. Check out the Dodgems, King Frog, Cyclone and Exposure rides and treat yourself to some freshly made doughnuts or candy floss. They’ll also love an afternoon at the Alpamare Waterpark (4 miles) or the Playdale Farm Park (3 miles). Afterwards, check out the line-up at Scarborough Spa (3 miles). With its majestic Grand Hall, Theatre, Ocean Room and Sun Court, Scarborough Spa plays host to a huge variety of entertainment throughout the year and is home to the last professional seaside orchestra in the country.

Wander through the atmospheric narrow streets and alleyways of Robin Hood Bay (16 miles). This lovely village was built into a steep-sided valley, so its charming streets are quaint and winding. There are many interesting shops and cafes to explore, as well as a few fascinating art galleries, and the coastal views are magnificent.

Alternatively, spend an afternoon at the Captain Cook Memorial Museum (22 miles). Cook was born in nearby Whitby and he learned to sail in Robin Hood's Bay. Or spend a day at Sandsend Beach - a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, surfing and sandcastle-building. While you’re there, stop by the Sandsend Museum, which tells the story of the village, from its fishing roots to its role during World War II.

Property used by my daughter and grandchildren who were visiting us. As we live close by the location was excellent. Always nice and warm (an early March visit) and plenty of hot water. The owner contacted me to check everything was alright which was appreciated.

lovely bungalow, comfortable and clean. comfortable beds. nice views. Be aware, if approaching from Scarborough direction, sat nav is fine, but from Filey direction it tried to send me along a gated/blocked coastal road. Don't be alarmed by the Hen Harrier sitting on the fence, it's next doors pet!

Comfortable and clean and an excellent location. The bus service is fantastic and the bus stop very near to the cottage. The cottage is within a residents only complex so it feels very safe and good parking. There was no book within the property for writing comments which was unusual we thought. Overall comfortable and a good base.

The cottage was outstanding and the view is fantastic, my only gripe was the small slope upto the cottage but that was my problem (I've got a problem with my legs) and didn't let it spoil our stay, the neighbours was very nice which helps make your stay enjoyable, wish there was a way I could load a photo onto this of the view.

The cottage was beautiful with a fantastic view and a great garden for the dog with no fear of her getting out. The permanent neighbours were very friendly too. It was well furnished and spotlessly clean. Couldnt have chosen better.

This was a wonderful cottage. It was clean and well-equipped and had ever changing views of the sea. Be aware that the parking space for your car is not alongside the cottage,. This was a nuisance when we first arrived and had to take our luggage up a ramp or about a dozen steps. This wasnt a problem for me, but was difficult for my less mobile husRead moreband. Hide
