Perfect for families, groups of friends and multi-generational gatherings, this welcoming house blends traditional and modern for both comfort and style. Head into the Dales for an outdoor adventure or explore the heritage of Saltaire and Haworth, then return to dine in the garden or enjoy a cosy evening in front of the wood burner.
With exposed beams and period fireplaces, this old stone house has plenty of character – including some internal steps – and offers lots of space for everyone to get together for a very special Yorkshire escape. At its heart is the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner, with its stone-flagged floor and informal breakfast table. With two cookers for preparing meals for a large party stress-free, there’s plenty of cupboard space, pretty views from the Belfast sink and even a Smart TV.
For more formal dining, lay the table in the dining room and, in the winter, light the open fire and indulge in a celebratory meal. After supper, the adults may want to head into the lounge and relax in front of the flames of the wood burner, while youngsters can hang out on the beanbags in the snug and do their own thing. Both rooms have Smart TVs for streaming an array of movies and programmes.
Also on the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with a gorgeous four-poster bed and an en-suite shower room. The perfect spot for grandparents, who can open the patio doors in the mornings and step straight out into the fresh air.
Completing the ground floor is a useful downstairs shower room, while on the first floor (taller people – the staircase ceiling is quite low), you’ll find three further king-size bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite shower room), a bunk-bed room for two, and a family bathroom with a spa bath and a separate shower.
Adults, children and dogs can all make the most of the enclosed garden, which has a large lawn with a slide for little ones to play on. Luxuriate in the bubbles of the hot tub, then cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ and dine together under the stars.
