Beautiful comfortable cottage. Enclosed garden perfect for our two dogs. Great walks from the cottage. Wonderful watching the Pied Wagtails who have a nest in the shed just outside the kitchen window. Thanks for the Milk and Biscuits and the dogs enjoyed the treats.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage had everything we needed and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Nice walled back garden so we could let our dog out safely without the need for a lead. The two bedrooms were a good size and beds comfortable. The location is outstanding being smack in the middle of the Dales and Moors. Also could easRead moreily get to York, Harrogate and Whitby. Very nice location in a peaceful part of Thirsk, the cottage itself was nice, could of had a bigger fridge/freezer and the couch was small and uncomfortable, nice touches with wine and biscuits, plus milk in the fridge. Nice place to relax in the garden but could of been a bit more tidier, bit overgrown. The beds were comfortable with lovely white Read morebedding and white fluffy towels. Hide

This was an ideal location for visiting friends in the area, as both we & they have dogs the walled garden was perfect. There is no 'through traffic' as the road is a dead end so very quiet & there are walks within a few minutes of leaving the house. The bottle of wine & biscuits (& milk) started the stay off quite nicely. When we are looking for pRead morelaces to stay in this area we will definitely consider using this place again. Hide

Lovely, well equipped cottage, in a quiet rural location. The rooms were very spacious and with a homely feeling. It was very thoughtful of the owners to provide a welcome pack. The Wi-Fi was very stable, which was important to us, with no issues noted.
