Step from Settle’s bustling centre into this welcoming cottage, where an inspiring decorative scheme blends rugged natural textures, pastel colours and high-quality furnishings for an aesthetic treat. Whether you all want to gather or spread out for some quiet time, you have plenty of space here – choose from the gorgeous lounge with its comfortable sofas and chairs and a deep window seat from which you can watch the world go by, or the cosy snug which has a small desk in the corner in case you need to catch up on some admin. Both rooms have Smart TVs for streaming favourite shows or a movie, and the lounge boasts a lovely wood burner to add to the warmth in the winter months.

Create impressive meals on the range-style cooker in the superb kitchen, where there’s plenty of cupboard space and an excellent range of equipment. Lay the dining table next door for a celebratory meal by the impressive ornamental fireplace.

Cottage-style stairs lead to the first floor and three fabulous bedrooms. In the super-king-size room, a handsome sleigh bed dressed in lovely linens complements exposed beams and a plush carpet. This room has an en-suite shower room, while the two other bedrooms – a double and a twin – share an amazing family bathroom. This very special space has a free-standing stone bath with integrated Bluetooth speakers – ideal for a long, hot soak after a day outdoors.

From your front patio, you can observe the comings and goings in the town’s marketplace, enjoying the sunshine in the bespoke stone seating around the dining table. At the rear of the cottage, another patio is fully enclosed and can be used as an alternative spot to sit with a coffee or an aperitif, and also to store bikes safely.

Settle is a well-loved and bustling market town, home to lots of lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. There's also a thriving market held in the town every Tuesday – the perfect place to pick up everything from flowers to dinner that night. If real ale is your thing, there are three fantastic real ale pubs set around the marketplace, so you can choose which one to try each evening!

Just outside of town, you can hop on the Settle to Carlisle railway, one of the most scenic routes in the UK which will take you over the well-known Ribblehead Viaduct (12 miles). Beyond Settle, you have the exquisite delights of the Yorkshire Dales. And, as you would expect, the surrounding countryside here is simply magnificent, perfect if you want to strike out from the cottage in your walking boots or on your bicycle.

The historic town of Skipton (16 miles) is also close by and offers a host of other attractions including its very own castle. There are lots of options to eat here as well as independent shops making it a great option for a full day out. Other nearby attractions include the Kilnsey Trout Farm and horse riding at Coniston, Malham.

It's a true walker's paradise here, but if you're more of a roamer than a rambler, try a stroll around the grounds of nearby Bolton Abbey (22 miles). These gorgeous ruins provide the backdrop to a particularly beautiful part of the Dales and are well worth a visit. There are a host of other attractions all within easy reach including Malham Cove and Malham Tarn (both 8 miles).

A beautiful period property, thoughtfully and stylishly renovated, centrally located and ideal as a base for exploring the local area. Shops, public transport and walks into the hills are on the doorstep. A spacious but cosy and welcoming retreat!

A wonderful warm cottage which is beautifully and stylishly decorated. The location on Market Place can't be faulted, with a supermarket, bakery, shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes on the doorstep, the train station a short walk away. Hikes to the caves and crags start behind the cottage. WiFi worked fantastically. The layout is also perfect, with Read moreseparate TV lounges for the kids and adults ! My older daughter said it was the nicest holiday home she ever stayed in ! Hide

Lovely cottage right in the centre of Settle. Perfect getaway for hiking or cycling in Yorkshire Dales. Easily sleeps six people, two large double bedrooms and a twin bed, two modern showers and a bath. All kitchen facilities including coffee machine. Samsung Frame TV with all the streaming apps and a log burner for cozy evenings after day out.

A well thought out and completed renovation of a lovely old cottage. Interior really comfortable with nice modern touches. Loved it , great holiday well done :)

Jessamine Cottage is located in the heart of quaint Settle. There is off street parking with a charging point in front of the property. The house is spacious but cosy. It is fantastically decorated and very well equipped.
