Escape with your family and friends to this stylish Yorkshire cottage situated in the heart of Bridlington, with easy access to Flamborough Nature Reserve, the seaside resort of Filey, and the outstanding scenery of the Yorkshire countryside.

This beautiful holiday accommodation is in an idyllic spot in a family-friendly Yorkshire town. Take a journey through the cobbled streets in the hidden gem of Bridlington Old Town, stop for a bite to eat at one of the many upmarket restaurants and bars, or discover the history, character and even seals in this fascinating fishing port. With ample space for four people and your canine friend, this cottage is the perfect base for those looking to explore the area on foot, by bike or by car.

On the ground floor, a soft palette accentuates the wooden highlights of this home, while upstairs, splashes of colour and seaside shades give a nod to the property's surroundings.

As you enter this cosy and comfortable cottage, you will find a welcoming open-plan living area, making gatherings and catching up with loved ones easy to cater for. To the left of the home, a modern kitchen, with all the essential amenities, gives head chefs the opportunity to rustle up fabulous feasts and superb suppers. You even have a washing machine for cleaning up walking coats and boots. The dining area has ample seating for everyone to break bread, play a board game or plan their next adventures together.

To the rear of the room, the lounge is a pleasure to relax in, thanks to the snuggly seating arranged around the Smart TV, or perhaps you may like to throw open the French doors and watch the owls come and go in the fields opposite.

From the lounge, climb up to the first floor, where you will find three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms. A sleek and modern double bedroom features sizeable storage for outdoor clothing, while the Juliet balcony is a lovely addition to enjoy those morning coffees. The second and third bedrooms both offer single beds, with fun, brightly coloured decor and plenty of storage – great for children. A family shower room completes the property and promises a refreshing start to any day.

Bask in the sunshine in the rear of the property and enjoy your lunch alfresco. Keep an eye on the children as they run about the garden space while you sip your glass of wine, or why not skip the washing up, pick up some classic fish and chips and tuck in outdoors? The wonderful family home benefits from one parking space.

The spectacular peninsula of Flamborough is simply stunning, providing visitors with panoramic views across the North Sea while standing at the peak of its distinctive white cliffs. Proudly standing over 400 feet tall, Flamborough Head is one of the most impressive spots on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, so it's not surprising that it draws in visitors worldwide.

This fine coastline is a brilliant base for birdwatchers, as the summer sees tens of thousands of birds flock here to breed, filling the skies with incredible sights and sounds. You may even get close encounters with nesting puffins, razorbills, gannets, herring gulls and other fantastic species.

Flamborough has much to offer the rambler, the historian and the day-tripper. Head 2 miles east of the village to admire the oldest full lighthouse in England, dating back to the 17th century, while away the hours on North Landing Beach for some of the best rock pooling of the country, or brace the exposed chalk headland with a stroll along the magnificent coastal path.

For those with an appetite for sampling new and exciting foods, the village hosts a few quaint pubs, bars and restaurants offering everything from locally sourced fish and chips to traditional British puddings. There are several unique shops here too, including antique and sweet shops.

Beyond the village, get to know the surrounding area with a trip to South Landing Beach (6 miles), tee off at the local golf course (4.5 miles), wander the historic hallways of Sewerby Hall and Gardens (4 miles) or create unforgettable memories with the kids at North Yorkshire Water Park (23.5 miles).

Owl View was lovely. The cottage was spotlessly clean, we had a welcome pack from the owner - Michelle, consisting of Milk, Custard Cream Biscuits, and Strawberry Jam. That was a wonderful touch. The location just outside of Bridlington was perfect. Views to the front and back is farmland. The country road while busy during the day was very quiet oRead moref an evening. We didn't see the Owls in a barn on the farmers field, but we heard them. We chose Owl Cottage as it was also dog friendly. Hide

Lovely well equipped cottage. Perfect for the kids but would work well for all ages. Just out of town in a quiet location which is perfect to chill at night. Loved watching the owls and other wildlife in the evening.

Lovely quiet location in very comfortable, clean accommodation. Had everything needed for a good holiday. Only thing to be aware of if a dog owner, the property is in an area with deep curbs and a county footpath is across a 60mph road. Loved watching the owls and glimpsed a deer. Michelle is a very considerate owner to help you enjoy your stay.
