Escape to this hidden gem, tucked away in the heart of Leyburn, a thriving market town situated in Wensleydale and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The town provides everything you need right on the doorstep, including family-run grocery shops, country pubs, bakeries and tearooms. Join the locals in the main square on Fridays to sample the best of the region's produce at the farmers’ market. The best way to explore this region is on foot, with routes leaving from the town centre in all directions. The first stop is the famous Leyburn Shawl, a limestone scar offering extensive views across the rolling hills of Wensleydale. From here, it is possible to walk to Bolton Castle, an exceptionally well-preserved medieval castle. Railway enthusiasts can take a ride on the heritage Wensleydale Railway or hop on the Wensleydale Vintage Bus for a unique way to travel between the country towns.

As you step inside this cottage, you are welcomed to a spacious hallway where you will begin to see the standard of the tasteful and stylish interior adorned with bespoke touches throughout. Head into the fully equipped kitchen featuring modern appliances and a breakfast bar. Here, you can craft delicious feasts using fresh produce from the local market, making every meal a delightful experience. The kitchen seamlessly connects to the cosy lounge area, where a wood burner invites you to unwind in front of a warm fire. A Smart TV ensures you're entertained, while a built-in desk creates a convenient workspace for those who need to catch up on work. Completing the ground floor is a well-appointed shower room, adding convenience and functionality to your stay. As evening descends, head upstairs to discover two inviting bedrooms. A beautiful king-size room with plush furnishings, and a twin room offering flexibility for families or friends. Another bathroom with a relaxing bath ensures that you have all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. This cottage is the perfect place to escape, knowing that you'll return to this haven of comfort and style at the end of each day.

Outside, a private courtyard awaits, serving as a sun trap where you can soak up the Yorkshire sunshine. It's the perfect spot to raise a toast to your getaway and enjoy al fresco dining or simply unwind with a good book.

A fabulous cottage in the centre if Leyburn has everything you need for an enjoyable stay so well equipped and of a really high standard. Lovely touches of the dog bed bowls and blanket and a welcome hamper for the humans. Very private and quiet but only around the corner from the Market Place I would thoroughly recommend it

Beautiful cottage!! We had a fantastic stay at Goose Cottage. It was beautifully decorated warm and cosy. The little touches for our dog were lovely with a bed and towel. Its secluded court yard is perfect and safe parking. The location was perfect with the local square round the corner and walks on your doorstep. We would absolutely stay again!!

Superbly equipped and decorated cottage in an excellent location with safe parking. We spent an enjoyable Christmas week and although the weather was wet and windy to say the least the cottage was warm and cosy and we were able to cook some lovely meals with local produce in the excellently equipped kitchen.
