An exquisite terraced house that beautifully blends timeless decor with modern comforts, making it an idyllic retreat for four people wanting to escape the stresses of everyday life.

Immerse yourself in inspiring architecture, rich history and plenty of foodie pubs, bars and restaurants with a stay at this elegant holiday home. Zig zag through the cobbled streets of stunning Minster (just over 150 metres) to explore the independent boutiques, shops and tearooms, and even catch some live music or a musical at the theatre (500 metres). While you're there, remember to drop into the local farmers’ market to pick up some tasty ingredients for those culinary creations.

This thoughtfully decorated home has been considered at every turn. Neutral tones and timeless decor add a sense of elegance and class throughout, while the open-plan living space gives guests the chance to spend quality time together.

On entering the property, the lounge area beckons you to unwind on its comfortable sofas in front of the striking feature fireplace. With a Smart TV and Wi-Fi included, there's lots to keep you and the children entertained. This space truly is a stylish sanctuary in which to relax.

Moving into the kitchen, solid worktops and crisp white units provide everything you need to cater for the whole family. It benefits from the usual mod cons, including an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and even a washing machine for those muddy walking clothes. Once you've dined at the table and planned your next adventure, recline in the lounge with a glass of wine and a few pages of your book, or even take a bubble bath in the downstairs family bathroom and ease those weary muscles.

Both bedrooms in the property are welcoming, with tasteful decor and fabulous views. The main bedroom is effortlessly chic, with a Scandinavian theme, a double bed and incredible views overlooking the historic Minster. The bedroom to the rear of the house has beautiful garden views, with a king-size zip-and-link bed and boasts restful decor.

Savour your morning cup of tea outside with inspiring views of the Minster of Beverley to accompany you. Have hearty breakfasts out here or enjoy a sizzling evening BBQ with a glass of bubbles. Your two canine friends will love it too – watch as they find their sunny spot from which to snooze.

  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

The beautiful market town of Beverley is one of Yorkshire's best-kept secrets, with its stunning 13th-century Beverley Minster often regarded as one of Europe's finest Gothic churches. Take a look at the town's medieval architecture before indulging in a spot of shopping around its lively cobbled squares. Finish off with a drink in one of the traditional Yorkshire pubs where time has stood still for decades. And beyond the town, get to know the gorgeous Yorkshire Wolds, a range of low rolling hills rising from the River Humber and sweeping along to the stunning cliffs at Flamborough Head. The gentle nature of the countryside here makes it an excellent location for walking and cycling.

The Wolds are also home to many historical homes and religious sites, as well as one of Yorkshire's largest lavender gardens. And for kids, there are heaps of fantastic attractions nearby (indoor and out), including The Deep in Hull (31 miles). The Yorkshire coast, North York Moors and the beautiful city of York are also all within easy driving distance and make for a great day out.

This is a lovely house in the centre of Beverley but away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping area, with amazing views of the Minister. Parking was not a problem even with our Transit van as Claire, the owner, had supplied parking permits so you could park in the street or in the parking area at the back of the cottage. Minster was a delight to stay in. The location is superb, right by the fabulous Minster, and a stone's throw from a great pub and good food shops. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and decorated in a restful and tasteful manner. The owner is incredibly helpful. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Everything was fine. Cottage was clean and well-equipped and allowed us to take our three dogs, who loved it. Everything we needed. Only things to be aware of is that the toilet is downstairs, so take care on night time visits! And the car parking space is tight

Fabulous little cottage We enjoyed our stay during some home renovation. It had a perfect central location in Beverley for all the lovely amenities. We know Beverley well so thoroughly enjoyed not having to shop and park etc, cottage was within walking distance of the town centre. Hamish, our border terrier enjoyed extra long walks on the Westwood,Read more even in the pouring rain. Beverley is very dog friendly. Had a great stay. House lovely and very comfortable. Everything you need. Great location, right near the Minster and close to 2 great pubs. Welcome pack was a treat. Parking a great bonus. Claire was easily contactable and rescued us when I took the wrong key, so we were locked out. Many thanks.

Lovely cottage, in an ideal location. Parking might be tight for a larger car but is an asset to have in a busy town. Fire is lovely to have, as is the abundant supply of logs. Owner is great to deal with.
