A traditional farmhouse resting in the quiet village of Thornton-le-Moor. Northallerton is within 4 miles where you can enjoy afternoon tea before visiting the National Trust's Mount Grace Priory. Thirsk (5 miles) boasts a quaint marketplace, splendid Georgian buildings, a Norman church, and excellent pubs, shops, restaurants, a cinema, and a leisure centre. The North York Moors National Park (9.5 miles) is teeming with excellent walking areas and routes, with the Cleveland Way being a popular waymarked trail to follow, bringing you across some breathtaking landscapes. Take a trip further south to find the White Horse, the largest and most northerly of England's horse figures, it's a fantastic sight to behold. Another historic and scenic setting is the National Trust's Rievaulx Abbey and Rievaulx Terrace, dramatic 11th-century ruins in the North York Moors with a cafe and visitor centre (16 miles).

This charming farmhouse nestles within the idyllic countryside of a working farm. Take the long farm track which brings you to your destination. Upon entering through the rear door, you're greeted by a practical boot room, offering a convenient space to shed coats, muddy boots, and even accommodate your four-legged companions. Adjacent, a utility room stands ready with a washing machine. For added convenience, a shower room and WC ensure everyone can freshen up without delay. Step further into the heart of the home, and you'll find the incredibly spacious kitchen/diner, exuding warmth with its exposed beams and brick fireplace. Here, family meals become cherished moments, as plans for the day's adventures take shape over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beyond, the lounge beckons with its generous proportions, providing ample space for relaxation and shared moments. For younger guests seeking their own retreat, a snug room awaits, equipped with entertainment options to keep them occupied. Ascending the staircase from the entrance hallway, you'll discover four inviting bedrooms, each offering restful nights and picturesque vistas of the surrounding countryside. Among them, a bunk room promises endless fun for the little ones, while a double and two king-size rooms ensure comfort for all. One of the king-size rooms even boasts a private en-suite bathroom for added luxury. Completing the upper level, a family bathroom invites indulgent baths or quick showers before another day of exploration.

Stepping outside, the private garden becomes a haven for creating cherished memories.
