A grand building, in need of repair, which current owners appear to be mid way through completing at time of stay. Bring extra bed layers for winter, a blind eye for aesthetics, and slippers for uneven floorboards. For the price we got it was an absolute bargain and the property was clean and well presented. Great for visiting local walks, an eveniRead moreng swim in the pool or soak in the tub and playing sardines! 10/10 would visit again. Hide

A house with a lot of character. The pool is great and we really enjoyed the games room. Plenty or room in the bar for all beer and drinks. Enjoyed film night in the sitting room.

What a stunning house this is - the location is brilliant, very quiet and lots of space. The house is part way through a renovation though with many surfaces unfinished and niggles that need ongoing attention, the cooker was no working correctly which was a bit of an inconvenience when trying to cook for 14 people. . If you are willing to overlook Read morethe work in progress and be flexible on some elements you will not be disappointed. If you are seeking perfection, look elsewhere. Hide

This is a wonderful house and location. We went as a group of 18 friends and enjoyed every minute. We all enjoyed the pool and playing snooker. The local pub a short walk away was friendly and good food.

This property is simply stunning and the location is amazing. We stayed for a week as a 70th birthday celebration and had a fantastic holiday. There are lovely walks to Janet's Foss, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar that take less than an hour from the Hall and are really worth a look. We were the first visitors since the refurbishment and the picturesRead more don't do it justice. Rory and his family who manage the property are lovely and incredibly helpful; we have already planned a return trip next year Hide
