This comfortable and airy single-storey first-floor apartment, which boasts a central location in the vibrant Yorkshire market town of Richmond, is an excellent holiday destination for couples or friends. In this picturesque town, there are plenty of shops and restaurants within 0.5 miles. There are also the peaceful River Swale Waterfalls, the impressive Richmond Castle, multiple museums and the historic Culloden Tower, all within 0.5 miles of the accommodation. Venturing out of town, the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is 2.5 miles away, where you can go on plenty of scenic hikes and visit cascading waterfalls.

Entering the lobby, the door to the apartment is up on the first floor. Stepping inside, you’ll find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with lots of natural light flooding in through the tall windows. Switch on the TV and relax on the sofas and armchairs. When it’s time to make dinner, the conversation can continue to flow while one person rests and the other cooks as you’ll still be in the same space. Near the kitchen area are a table and chairs. There are two bedrooms in this property, both of which are double beds and a chest of drawers each, with a minimalist feel. One of them has an additional wardrobe for extra storage. Inside the tiled bathroom, there’s a tub for you to rest in and unwind.

While the property does not have a garden, less than 150 metres away is the Friary Gardens, which is a pretty green space with sculptures, benches and flower beds.

Great location. Stayed in flat 1last year. Bedding and towels clean. The problem, only two coat hangers, no bathroom bin, but main complaint was lack of dusting of surfaces and drawers. It felt like we were the first visitor since autumn and flat needed a good clean.
