A peaceful and convenient retreat sleeping four is less than 0.25 miles from the cobbled streets, shops and busy harbour of this delightful former fishing village. Fishing boats of all sizes still operate out of Whitby and the town boasts some of the best fish restaurants and fish and chips shops to be found. Watch the boats come ashore in the early morning to get first choice of their catch. Book a variety of sea trips, including angling, whale watching if the season is right, and an evening outing to see the lights of the town from a different perspective. Climb the famous 199 steps to the ruins of Whitby’s 13th century Abbey or take a gentler walk along the sandy beach that runs to the pretty village of Sandsend (2 miles). On the doorstep is the beautiful North York Moors National Park, with more great walks and pretty villages to discover.
Twelve steps lead up from a secure entry to the apartment block’s light and airy lobby. An entrance hall leads to a spacious open plan living/diner/kitchen layout, with snug seating and TV, dining table and chairs, and a streamlined kitchen. Two bedrooms, one king-size with TV and doors leading to a patio, and one twin. A bathroom has a bath with shower over and WC.
Outside, a small, private patio area has a table and chairs, plus parking for one car.
