Full of Victorian charm, with a pier and beach huts, it’s the perfect place for a traditional day at the seaside. It’s also a great spot for surfing. Keen walkers can set off along the long-distance Cleveland Way to explore Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay (12 miles).
