The elegant property enjoys a peaceful location, just outside the picturesque village of Runswick Bay. Sleeping six guests, it’s a fantastic holiday home for large families and groups of friends. Its open-plan layout lends itself to entertaining, and there’s a great variety of seating areas, so everyone can spread out and relax during the holiday. A gentle 0.5-mile stroll will bring you into the centre of the village, where you’ll be met by a sea of red-roofed cottages and a picture-postcard sheltered bay. On the sandy beach, you can while away the hours rummaging through rock pools and hunting for fossils, or perhaps get out on the water in a kayak or on a paddleboard. The Cleveland Way passes right through the village, providing you with endless walking opportunities. Along the coast path, you’ll find many fascinating towns and villages to explore, including Staithes, Sandsend, and Whitby (all within 10 miles).
Four steps lead you to the front door of this beautiful holiday home. Inside, a magnificent open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner awaits, with a striking wood-panelled ceiling and impressive floor-to-ceiling glass wall, flooding the space with natural light. Perch at the bar stools with a glass of wine, to plan your itinerary, or gather around the wood burner-effect electric fire to share stories. There’s also a TV/DVD for movie nights and a large dining table with a bench and seating, so you can enjoy memorable mealtimes together. The property has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a further two twin bedrooms. Completing the holiday home is a stylish family bathroom.
Outside, a fabulous raised decked area wraps around the cabin. The area is fully enclosed – perfect for your four-legged guest – and has a south-facing side that has outdoor furniture, so you can sip a sundowner in the sunshine at the end of an action-packed day.
