Head into Whitby (5.5 miles) to explore the ruins of Whitby Abbey (0.5 miles) – which are said to have inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Further afield, head to Scarborough (16.5 miles) to take a surfing lesson, go on a dolphin-spotting boat trip, or take a stroll around the town’s Medieval castle.
Step inside this gorgeous cottage and you’ll find a wonderful open-plan kitchen/dining room. Get busy cooking up a feast for your loved ones in the chic kitchen area, or crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp and catch up on the gossip at the dining table. After dinner, head up to the spacious, light and bright lounge on the first floor, where you can slip onto a sofa to relax in front of the wood burner.
