Sitting in the charming village of Kettlewell, this cottage is perfect for anyone in search of a rural retreat surrounded by the scenic Yorkshire Dales. Kettlewell is a grey-stone village with narrow lanes and rows of picturesque cottages. Explore a little further afield and hike the Dales Way to Buckden (3.5 miles), which follows the route of the River Wharfe. Along the way you’ll see Redmire Wood and enjoy some spectacular views of the Upper Wharfedale Valley. Alternatively, head to the bustling market town of Skipton (15 miles) to explore the 11th-century castle, stroll alongside the Springs Branch Canal, or see one of the rare ‘First Folios’ of Shakespeare's plays at the Craven Museum and Gallery.
Step through the entrance porch of this beautiful home and you’ll discover a welcoming lounge. Slip onto a sofa and take a moment to make yourself at home in front of the wood burner before heading to the kitchen/diner to rustle up dinner for loved ones. Get everyone together to dine at the stylish table and then return to the lounge to put your feet up in front of the TV. When it’s time for bed, head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find two king-size bedrooms with country views, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. A chic family bathroom with underfloor heating rounds off the first-floor layout. Climb the stairs to the second floor and you’ll find a lovely twin bedroom with dual-aspect windows – and through that bedroom you have access to another twin. Both twin bedrooms have single beds that can be converted into king-size beds on request.
Step outside and you’ll find a quaint courtyard with patio furniture overlooking the beautiful beck.
