Whether you’re travelling as a couple or a small family, this inviting cottage for three promises the perfect base for a North Yorkshire walkers' retreat. It is situated just 0.5 miles from the town centre of Hawes and within easy reach of some of the Dales’ most unforgettable scenery. Set out to appreciate the beautiful water displays of Aysgill Force (1 mile), Cotter Force (2.5 miles) or Aysgarth Falls (10 miles), or head to the nearby Lake Semerwater (4.5 miles) for wild swimming and adrenalin-pumping water sports. In Hawes itself you can visit the famous Wensleydale Creamery (0.5 miles) for a sample of the local delicacy, or simply enjoy an afternoon at the Dales Countryside Museum (1 mile).
Step inside this bright and lovingly appointed cottage to be greeted by a pretty lounge space with a multi-fuel stove, original beams and a TV/DVD, the perfect spot to put your feet up as the evening sets in. You can cook up a storm and sit down to eat in the adjacent kitchen. Head up the staircase to find two sunny bedrooms and a family bathroom with a generous walk-in shower on the first floor. Along with an inviting double, the property features a bunk bedroom with views of the surrounding hills. Please note that only the bottom bunk is in use.
The patio catches the sun wonderfully and offers a charming place to enjoy morning coffee or a late-evening tipple. An exterior utility room is also accessible from here, complete with space to store outdoor equipment and a handy washer/dryer.
