This comfortable cottage is a wonderful retreat situated in the practical and pretty village of Bainbridge, an area surrounded by stunning scenery and plenty of walking and cycling trails. One of the longest established settlements in the Yorkshire Dales, Bainbridge has a rich history – head across the river to Brough Hill and spot the well-defined earthworks of a Roman Fort. Enjoy the beautiful rolling countryside and vibrant wildlife or pay a visit to one of the area’s cascading waterfalls. Choose from Aysgarth Falls (6 miles), Aysgill Force (5 miles) or Cotter Force (6.5 miles). Alternatively, Lake Semerwater is just 2.5 miles from the property and can be accessed on foot or by car and is great for fishing, sailing, windsurfing or canoeing.

Head inside this lovely cottage and hang your coats and place your walking boots within the porch before finding yourself in the open-plan kitchen/diner. Cook up a tasty meal in the beautiful and practical kitchen and enjoy eating together around the dining table, situated in front of a window that has far-reaching village views. Cosy up in the lounge in front of the warming wood burner and watch your favourite shows on the 50' Smart TV. When you are ready for some shuteye, head upstairs to the first floor and choose from one of the two bedrooms. Bedroom one is a king-size with stunning views over the Dales, and the second bedroom is a twin room with views of the countryside. The family bathroom completes the interior with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside to the front of the cottage is a cosy paved patio area with seating. Enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the village’s green and children’s play area.
