This characterful cottage nestled in the quaint village of Finghall is ideal for small families or friends who want a peaceful countryside getaway with a variety of walks. The town of Leyburn is just 5 miles away with a lovely selection of independent shops and eateries. The Yorkshire Dales are also within easy reach for endless walks with panoramic views from the hill summits, and the beautiful Wensley Waterfall is 6 miles away. There are several historic points of interest nearby too, including Bolton Hall (7 miles) and Middleham Castle (5 miles).

All set on one level, this cosy cottage is bursting with country-living charm from the original features such as wooden beams to thoughtful decorative touches. Put a film on the Smart TV or enjoy a warm beverage at the coffee table as you admire the countryside views. The contemporary kitchen has all the essentials for whipping up delicious family meals, and behind this, there is a sociable dining table which seats four people. Leading off from here you will find the super-king-size bedroom which can be separated into twin beds if necessary, with a TV, radio, wardrobe, dressing table and more splendid views. The generous en-suite boasts a walk-in monsoon shower and a roll-top bath perfect for a relaxing soak after an energising walk. The second king-size bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light, and a separate dressing room area with desk. Step into the en-suite, with a bath that features both a monsoon shower and a hand-held shower.

Step outside through the patio doors in the living area onto the sunny patio, the perfect spot for al fresco dining. The spacious enclosed lawn is ideal for taking in the spectacular scenery, while the wood-fired hot tub looking out across the hills is wonderful for watching the sunset.

Beautiful cosy cottage in a rural position overlooking spectacular views. Very well maintained with everything you need for that 'escape' break. Wonderful walks around & 2 great pubs (both dog friendly) with easy walking distance. Owner on hand if any issues arise, although respect privacy when occupied. One of the nicest cottages we've visited

We didn't seem to be able to get the heating on an even keel in both bedrooms, the bedroom with the main thermostat didn't heat the second bedroom.....maybe needs a look at.
