A beautifully presented barn conversion on the grounds of an 18th-century farmhouse, this cottage is the perfect countryside escape for couples, friends or a family. Just inland from the fabulous Yorkshire Coast and close to the North Yorks Moors National Park, this is the ideal base for exploring this fascinating, scenic area. A short stroll into the village will bring you to wonderful country pubs and restaurants. Take a drive into Scarborough, 4 miles away, to sample some excellent seafood, or enjoy classic seaside fun such as sandcastle building, crabbing, and walks along the promenade. The quaint Yorkshire fishing villages of Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes and the historic port of Whitby can be found 20 miles north.
With accommodation arranged all on one level, the open-plan kitchen/living area offers two comfy sofas, an electric stove-effect fire, flat-screen TV and everything the chef of the day could need. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and lovely countryside views, the other with two single beds that can be combined to create a king-size bed. The latter also has an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over the bath.
Outside, the property has a seating area with a bench where you can sit and relax, taking in the country air.
