A handy bolthole for families or couples, this well-positioned cottage in the heart of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales offers convenient access to everything that the popular small town has to offer. Hosting weekly markets every Tuesday, and with some of the country's best hiking and cycling trails on its doorstep, it's no wonder that Hawes is one of the top destinations in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Wensleydale Creamery of Wallace and Gromit fame is in the town, and Castle Bolton, with its links to Mary Queen of Scots, is 12 miles away. There are several fantastic gastropubs and restaurants to enjoy and numerous independent craft and supply stores to be discovered.
Entering this upside-down property via the porch with boot and coat storage, on the ground floor you will find a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a bath and shower over. On the first floor is the snug living room with a comfy sofa facing the Freeview TV and warming electric 'living flame' fire. From here, you can take in the views out over the hills. The wood finish kitchen/diner has a farmhouse feel and comes fully kitted out with everything you could need. Also on the first floor is the second bedroom with a double bed in which to flop after a day exploring the Dales.
