Arched windows, a hand-crafted kitchen and luxurious bathrooms make this cottage an ideal base and thoughtful extras will ensure your stay is both memorable and comfortable. This handsome stone property has a commanding position over the village green in Bainbridge, a village popular with visitors in the middle of picturesque Wensleydale. The wide village green, children's play area and the local pub enjoy a backdrop of the fells and there are numerous walking and cycling routes all around. Basic supplies are available at the small village store whilst a variety of shops can be found just 5 miles away in Hawes. You’ll also love the beautiful, tiered waterfall at Aysgarth Falls (6 miles).

Wooden gates and an undercover entrance lead to the front door. Inside, you’ll find beautiful interiors. The ground floor houses a shower room, utility room and double bedroom with TV, and patio doors that open onto covered seating outside. Take the stairs to the first floor for the kitchen and a cheerful living/dining room with a wood burner and views over the village. From here, stairs lead to the other three lovely bedrooms – one king-size, one twin and a single – and a smart family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside is a small patio area with a bench. Parking for one vehicle. Please note that there is an EV charging point at the property, if you wish to use this facility you will need to download an app to purchase the electricity via debit/credit card. You will also need your own charging cable.

Lovely peaceful location, cottage well equipped however downstairs bedroom very odorous (foisty smell) Would have loved to use this room with patio doors and great view. Nice thoughtful welcome pack, wine was lovely. Didn't have chance to use wood burner due to heatwave.

Cottage is in a very quiet location -nearby to most interesting places to visit- the nearest restaurants in Hawes stopped serving after 8pm except for one.- Sorry cannot remember the name. Beds are comfortable -We did not need to use the washing machine etc. Central heating can be controlled in each room which is great.
