Set in a secluded spot in the scenic landscape of Garsdale, this converted barn can easily accommodate a family or small group of friends. Only 6 miles from the town of Hawes, with a number of pubs, shops and cafes, a stay here means you can truly get away from it all, yet easily reach amenities in a car. The real selling point of the home is its proximity to nature. The woodland opposite boasts a whole range of wildlife, while the Dales themselves are fantastic for walkers and cyclists. Local landmarks are Garsdale Railway Station under half a mile away.
After stepping inside, guests are welcomed by an open-plan living area with a modern kitchen. The sitting area is comfortable as well as bright and light with a wood burner. The living area has traditional stone floors and oak fittings, in keeping with the original features of the barn. The ground floor has a cloakroom with a WC – a great place to lock away muddy walking boots after a day’s hiking. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a king-size, and a twin with an en-suite shower room. There is also an additional shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.
Outside is a small outdoor seating area with views of Baugh Fell and the valley of Garsdale.
Please note that the property is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old.
