Set over three floors, this charming Yorkshire cottage sleeps six and is perfect for relaxing family or group getaways. It’s a real home from home and is great for those seeking a rural experience. Despite it being in a quiet corner, it’s just 400 metres from the market town of Hawes where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and boutiques to explore.
On the ground floor, you enter the cottage into an entrance hallway with handy hooks to hang your coats. You then have the well-equipped kitchen complete with all the appliances you need to cook and clean. There’s also a farmhouse-style wooden dining table and four chairs where you can sit and enjoy family meals together. From there, you enter the living room – a cosy and traditional space. It has a leather two-seater sofa and two armchairs set in front of a coffee table, Smart TV and electric fireplace. You can also relax with a good book from the bookcase. When the night draws in, head upstairs to the first floor where the first bedroom is. It has a beautiful oak-framed double bed, matching bedside drawers, lamps, a wardrobe, and amazing views across the fells. There’s also a bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath, WC, heated towel rail and a washing machine discreetly hidden inside a cupboard. On the second floor, there are a further two bedrooms. One has another oak-framed double bed, bedside tables, lamps, dressing table and wardrobe, plus a comfortable armchair. The last bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, a bedside table and more beautiful views of the fells.
Outside, there is a small courtyard with a table and chairs that seat four. It’s great for enjoying morning coffees or al fresco dining during the summer months.
