Situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this tranquil two-bedroom cottage is an ideal place for peaceful getaways with opportunities for scenic walking and cycling. It’s surrounded by meadows in a rural location, but you have a local pub and shop within just 2 miles.
Upon entering, there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It has a comfortable two-seater sofa and two armchairs set in front of a coffee table and Freeview TV. There’s also an electric fire on a slate hearth to keep you warm on chilly nights. The kitchen area is equipped with a combination microwave and a two-ring ceramic hob. The window above the sink overlooks the beautiful green hills. Have a bite to eat on the extendable dining table and chairs that seat four. When bedtime calls, head over to the first bedroom with its inviting double bed, bedside table and two windows offering more picturesque scenery. The second bedroom has two single beds plus bedside tables and lamps. The bathroom is a modern design in grey and white with a large shower cubicle, WC and heated towel rail.
The outside is what truly makes this property a lovely retreat. To the front is a large patio area and, beyond the fence, there’s space to park two cars. From here, there are great views across the fields to Easby Moor and Captain Cooks Monument. To the rear is an enclosed area with a hot tub and more stunning scenery to admire. Behind the fence, there is partial barn space to store bikes.
If you want to eat out the village pub serves breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
