Walk or cycle along the scenic Cinder Track (1 mile), a coastal path which ends up in Scarborough 20 miles away. The River Esk (0.5 miles) which runs through Whitby also offers plenty of attractive scenery, starting with the impressive 13-arch brick Larpool viaduct (0.5 miles).
You’ll enter this cottage into an entrance hall leading to all the ground-floor rooms. The modern kitchen has a beautiful granite worksurface with bar stools for guests to perch on, as well as a sofa, a coffee table and French doors leading out to the garden. The separate dining room also has glass doors, plus a wooden table and padded dining chairs for group meals. There’s a comfortable lounge with quirky and colourful furniture including plenty of sofa space, as well as a smart TV and mood lighting to create a cosy atmosphere.
