If you’re after a spacious holiday accommodation for extended family or a large group of friends, consider this roomy modern build in pretty Whitby. When you’re not relaxing in your home away from home, there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, whether it’s a bucket-and-spade outing to Whitby Beach (1 mile) or dinner out in one of this harbour town’s many pubs and eateries. Walk or cycle along the scenic Cinder Track (1 mile), a coastal path which ends up in Scarborough 20 miles away. The River Esk (0.5 miles) which runs through Whitby also offers plenty of attractive scenery, starting with the impressive 13-arch brick Larpool viaduct (0.5 miles).

You’ll enter this cottage into an entrance hall leading to all the ground-floor rooms. The modern kitchen has a beautiful granite worksurface with bar stools for guests to perch on, as well as a sofa, a coffee table and French doors leading out to the garden. The separate dining room also has glass doors, plus a wooden table and padded dining chairs for group meals. There’s a comfortable lounge with quirky and colourful furniture including plenty of sofa space, as well as a smart TV and mood lighting to create a cosy atmosphere. With a separate utility room, games room and WC also downstairs, there’s ample space for enjoying the house comfortably due to the multiple ground floor reception rooms. Head up the staircase from the downstairs hallway to the upstairs landing that has a console table and lamp. This space leads to each of the four characterful bedrooms as well as the main bathroom which is equipped with a large walk-in shower as well as a bathtub and WC.

There’s lots of space outside the property, too, with a sunny garden with furniture plus ample parking space on a tarmac surface. The adjoining garage is handy for keeping sports equipment, including bikes. There is a new BBQ available to use in the garage.

Fabulous property!! Beautiful decor, light, spacious, very well equipped and immaculate! Everything had been thought of, to make a really comfortable stay. Great location with plenty of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to stay here again. It was exactly as the photos and description portrayed - even better. Thanks.
