A picture-perfect cottage at the end of a pretty row, this is the ideal holiday home for a family or group of friends to get together and enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. Located on the edge of the village of Kettlewell in the heart of the Dales, there are pubs, tea rooms and a village shop within 500 metres of the property. Movie buffs may be interested to know that the village was the setting for the 2003 film ‘Calendar Girls’. From Kettlewell, there’s easy access to the popular towns of Skipton (14.5 miles), Grassington (7 miles) and Malham (14 miles). Closer to home, marvel at the stunning countryside and enjoy unlimited walking routes in the surrounding area. Take in the stunning scenery on horseback on a trek or trail ride with Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre (3.5 miles away), or learn how to fly fish at Kilnsey Park, also 3.5 miles down the road.

The cottage has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and relax with a large hallway with storage leading to the well-equipped kitchen/diner. Gather around the dining table at mealtimes, and the electric piano afterwards for a singalong. The welcoming living room, with original beams and a wood burner, is perfect for getting together in the evening and playing a game or watching a DVD – there is also a selection of books and games to choose from. Up a steep flight of stairs (with a handrail) are the large king-size, a twin room and a cosy single room, and a family bathroom with a separate WC.

Relax and watch the sun go down at the end of an exciting day in the pretty paved area up a few steps up at the rear of the cottage.

Booking this cottage was very easy and simple & went smoothly from the start to end of holiday. The cottage was good value for money between 5 people. Very convenient for The Blue Bell Inn and the Racehorses Hotel which served a good selection of beer and food. My family enjoyed their stay at the cottage and I have already recommend this cottage toRead more my friends. Hide

Great location to explore the surrounding areas. It is really quiet and the place is spacious enough to host a group up to 5.

The cottage was beautiful and ideally located to access walks, and explore the local area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was well equipped. There was a basket of logs left for us on arrival and a fire had already been laid in the wood burner, which we thought was a nice touch. We absolutely loved the local area and want to gRead moreo back there again as soon as we can. The ONLY downside about the cottage was that there was only one toilet! Hide
