A picture-perfect cottage at the end of a pretty row, this is the ideal holiday home for a family or group of friends to get together and enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. Located on the edge of the village of Kettlewell in the heart of the Dales, there are pubs, tea rooms and a village shop within 500 metres of the property. Movie buffs may be interested to know that the village was the setting for the 2003 film ‘Calendar Girls’. From Kettlewell, there’s easy access to the popular towns of Skipton (14.5 miles), Grassington (7 miles) and Malham (14 miles). Closer to home, marvel at the stunning countryside and enjoy unlimited walking routes in the surrounding area. Take in the stunning scenery on horseback on a trek or trail ride with Kilnsey Trekking & Riding Centre (3.5 miles away), or learn how to fly fish at Kilnsey Park, also 3.5 miles down the road.
The cottage has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and relax with a large hallway with storage leading to the well-equipped kitchen/diner. Gather around the dining table at mealtimes, and the electric piano afterwards for a singalong. The welcoming living room, with original beams and a wood burner, is perfect for getting together in the evening and playing a game or watching a DVD – there is also a selection of books and games to choose from. Up a steep flight of stairs (with a handrail) are the large king-size, a twin room and a cosy single room, and a family bathroom with a separate WC.
Relax and watch the sun go down at the end of an exciting day in the pretty paved area up a few steps up at the rear of the cottage.
