We had a great time at Thorns. The picture does not do justice to how nice the place is. The location is brilliant with stunning uninterrupted views from every room. The village is a short walk with lovely pubs and cafes. It's a great location for exploring the dales and Lake District. The cottage was very clean and loaded with amenities !!

This was one of the nicest holiday cottages I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was really well equipped, you could have cooked every meal there and always had the correct utensil or equipment to use. The cottage was really cosy and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Thorns was our rendezvous for a long delayed get together with friends from South Africa. It was perfect. Very well appointed, very clean and well equipped. A short 10 minute walk into Hawes, 15 minutes to the Creamery, and a lovely high street full of very tempting shops and places to eat, drink coffee, eat cake, ice cream or fish and chips - Read moreall tastes fully catered for. A short but lovely drive over the Buttertubs pass takes one to Thwaite, Muker, and on to Reeth. So much lovely scenery. Hide
