A delightful single-storey cottage with a comfortable and modern interior, enjoying easy access to local attractions, perfect for a family or group of friends with a long list of interests and sites to enjoy across the East Riding of Yorkshire. Heron Lakes’ 75 acres of parkland offers a host of on-site fishing, sailing, walking and cycling opportunities. One footpath leads to the small cathedral city of Beverley (6 miles), home to a popular racecourse and an abundance of dog-friendly shops and pubs in and around its market square. Naturalists will catch sight of numerous wildlife at High Eske nature reserve (10 miles) and for water sports away from Heron Lakes, the sandy beaches at Hornsea (8 miles) and Barmston (12 miles) offer wonderful days out.

Positioned to catch as much sun as possible throughout the day, the lodge has been finished to a high standard. The open-plan living area has comfortable seating arranged towards the TV, along with a small kitchen/diner to one side, the whole area enjoying views out onto the lake through patio doors. Separate to this area is a shower room, along with an en-suite double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The south-facing wrap-around deck is just the place to catch some sun and watch the world go by from its garden furniture.

Excellent communication throughout and the lodge and views were fantastic. The lodge and site were very clean with friendly people and staff around you. It was great that we could take our dog with us with a nice steady walk around the site.
