This ground-floor waterside apartment is situated in the modern Whitehall Landing development in Whitby, only 0.5 miles from the old town. It provides a perfect base for couples looking to explore Yorkshire’s beautiful coastline and the North York Moors National Park. Walk along Church Street where you’ll find narrow, medieval, cobbled streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps and you can also discover the renowned Whitby Abbey. Head over the swing bridge to the west side of town where you'll find a lively stretch filled with cosy pubs, fun arcades and the beautiful West Cliff Beach and pier where you can watch the boats come and go.

Very clean and well equipped the apartment was comfortable and in an excellent spot to explore Whitby without the hassle of parking. Found easy evening walks along the river side and views of Whitby from the road bridge were wonderful. I will happily return to No 1 in the future, parking right out side the apartment was a great bonus..

The property was as described and made for a very comfortable stay for a week in. November. All the equipment, fixtures and fittings were of a high standard and my wife and I would happily stay here again.

A lovely apartment in a quiet location in Whitby but only a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Very clean and comfortable would definitely recommend to a friend.

A lovely apartment, very clean and a fab bedroom. It's lovely and quiet but only a short walk into the town. After a very long drive we left the car and used the steam train and buses to get around. Would recommend The Edge Bistro, fab food and also the Fisherman's Wife, beautiful fresh fish and stunning views. We used the local fish and chip shop Read morethat was possibly the best that we've had. Our first visit to Whitby and we wasn't disappointed. We will definitely be back and would recommend the apartment to friends and family. Hide

Thank you for a wonderful stay in beautiful Whitby - our first visit. Would highly recommend the ghost walk by Dr Crank - hilarious and informative, suitable for all ages. Also visited Staithes, Robin Hoods Bay, had lunch on the NYMR steam train and walked for miles round Whitby. The perfect spot for our adventures. Thank you.

Thank you - we really enjoyed our stay here, the flat is lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed the views of the river and right across to the abbey from outside. We walked into town for our morning coffee and especially liked Mr Cooper's on Church Street. We took the twilight boat trip which was great fun and beautiful views of Whitby and Sandsend allRead more lit up. Some friends also went on a mackerel fishing trip and caught enough to feed all of us (Whitby Coastal Fishing). Hide

The property was as we expected from the booking process. Whitby 1 is a little out of the town centre but this was a plus for us being a little way from the main attractions.
