Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestled at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery. Stunning views over the magnificent cliffs can be enjoyed, with rock pooling and paddling on the beach, as well as superb walking, with the Cleveland Way and Coast to Coast long-distance paths both crossing here. The village has everything you need in the way of amenities, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshments. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.

Thoughtfully designed and decorated to a high standard, this retreat is an enchanting place for a holiday. On the ground floor, you have a huge open-plan living/dining space in the new contemporary extension, with bi-fold doors opening out onto the large and enclosed private garden with a hot tub, BBQ and seating area. There are two super-king-size bedrooms on this floor, adorned with beautiful bespoke designer furniture. With high ceilings and designer lighting, these rooms are an absolute haven of decadence. There is also a beautifully presented ground-floor bathroom as well as a separate WC. Up on the first floor is the open-plan dining, living and kitchen area which has jaw-dropping views across the bay; it is a glorious space exuding old-school glamour in a thoroughly stylish way. Each of the six bedrooms boasts cushy beds that you just won’t want to get out of, beautiful bespoke and antique furniture, designer lighting and lovely

linens. On the first floor, there’s one king-size bedroom as well as a beautiful bathroom with a free-standing bath. On the top floor, you have a king-size, the double and the twin bedroom under the eaves as well as the elegant walk-in shower room.

Open up the bi-fold doors in the ground-floor lounge room onto the patio area where there’s wonderful outdoor furniture and a fantastic hot tub. It’s the perfect place for soaking those tired legs in with a glass of something refreshing in hand while the little ones play in their own private pirate ship.
