A pretty lodge situated close to the Yorkshire Dales just outside Ripon, guests will love this tranquil spot. The small market town of Masham is just 3 miles away with tea shops, a good choice of inns, excellent restaurants, shops, Theakston’s Brewery and a quaint cobbled square, which plays host to weekly markets and speciality markets, including the annual Sheep Fair every September. The little city of Ripon (11.5 miles) is home to a stunning cathedral and a wide range of independent shops and restaurants. Spend a day meandering the Ripon Spa Gardens or visiting one of the historic museums. If you have children with you, visit Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park (8.5 miles), with over 35 rides and attractions. For wonderful walking routes, head off on foot from the doorstep into the surrounding woodlands, or take a trip into the Yorkshire Dales National Park (5 miles) for hill hikes.
Head up four external steps and through the front door and you will find this lodge offers fantastic open-plan living. Get cosy on one of the comfortable sofas in front of the flame-effect electric fire and watch your favourite film or shows on the Smart TV. One of the sofas converts into a bed for that extra guest if required. Rustle up a delicious and hearty meal in the kitchen before enjoying eating together at the dining table. Down the hallway are the two bedrooms and a lovely shower room. The first bedroom is a double and has its own TV, the second bedroom is a twin room with an en-suite bathroom. A separate shower room completes the property.
Head through the patio doors off the lounge and onto the lodge’s private, decked area. Take a seat on the garden furniture with a glass of something nice and enjoy the sunset through the trees around you.
