This pet-friendly farmhouse in scenic Garsdale offers comfortable lodging for a family or a small group of friends. A stay here ensures a true escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life, while remaining conveniently accessible by car to essential amenities – it's only 6 miles from the honeypot town of Hawes which offers a selection of pubs, cafes and shops. The standout feature of this residence is its close proximity to nature: there are resident red squirrels in the woodland opposite and many birds. There are walks from the door, and the surrounding Dales provide an ideal area for both hikers of all abilities as well as cyclists. Notable local landmarks include Garsdale Railway Station, half a mile away, which carries mainline services as well as steam specials during holiday periods.
This thoughtfully decorated, three-bedroom, one-bathroom farmhouse is nestled in a rural setting, offering breathtaking countryside views. It offers modern comfort but has retained its rustic charm, and upon entry, you’ll be taken aback by the high standard of decoration throughout. The main open-plan kitchen/dining area has stone floors, a large dining table and a comfortable sofa to relax on by the wood burner. The ground floor offers further space to split away from the group in the cosy snug with a small sofa, wood burner, Smart TV and piano. The utility room is also on the ground floor with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and one further single room (for parties of five on request). The stylish and contemporary shower room features a large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and a pretty vanity unit.
Outside, there is secure storage for bicycles and two outside seating areas, one facing woodland just metres from a red squirrel feeder, and the other in an enclosed area with spectacular views along Garsdale.
